Aqua Wave Swim School has been in operation since April 1997. Marla Blauman, CEO, has been teaching swimming and refining teaching skills for over 40 years. Her parents, Mel and Doris Maxwell, founded a swim school in Orange County in 1956. Many of the teaching methods used here at AQua Wave were developed by Mel and Doris and modified by Marla.

Aqua Wave Swim School pool is enclosed to provide warmth in winter and protection from the sun in the summer. Our facility is specifically designed for teaching in warm water (92°-94°). The pool is child friendly with play areas for swimmers and non-swimmers. Our water filtration system is 300% better than required by the health department.

Our well-qualified Aqua Wave instructors love to teach children and children love to learn from them. Every instructor is trained extensively in the Aqua Wave method and certified in CPR. Instructor development and training continues year-round with workshops, conferences, and hands-on help from our supervising instructors.
